In recent years, with the increase of large scale DDos attack and the higher complexity, it becomes easier to start an attack and pays lower price. Now the economic benefits gradually give top priority to diversification of motivation. Over the years, there were reasons in both management and technology to keep DDos grew up quickly. It needs to make joint efforts on both political and technical in response to threatens.This article gave the analysis based on2011DDos attack and the brief introduction about coping strategy of policy and technique.First of all, it showed the principle of DDos attack including emerging, purpose, appearance and skills. It also discussed the main protection methods and the contrast of advantages and disadvantages. Secondly, this article gave presentation of Anti-DDos attacking system which had been used at Inner Mongolia Branch of China Unicom. It discussed three sections as data collection, traffic analysis and detection index. Meanwhile, it introduced the protection rule allocation. After that, the text introduced the Inner Mongolia Branch of China Unicom "Black Hole" system’s deploy and implement as well as the initial stage planning, scheme, the function of flow clean centre and practical application. Showing the results after putting it into use.Last, took a look at the prospect of Arbor Anti-DDos systems, it came up with the next planning goal and the expected results.
