The Research And Application Of SQL Computer-aided Learning Platform Based On Cases

In today’s business world, database is widely used to process data and pump out information. So it is very important for college students whose major is computer-relevant to learn the compulsory course---Database well. The general language of database is SQL, so the learning of SQL is very much emphasized in college. With the specific characteristics of highly-structured, SQL fundamental theory seems easier for college students to learn, however, college students find it rather difficult to use SQL in practice. One reason may be that the practical experiment teaching can’t keep up with the theory teaching. The other the difference of the three kinds of DBMS (MySQL、Sq1Server、Oracle) are used to make teaching better between theory and practice.Because IT is developing rapidly, the cases used in teaching haven’t been updated with its development. So the teaching cases should be updated with the development of IT, only in this way will the college students graduated meet the need of IT corporations. The quantization of SQL knowledge and the reasonable method of learning evalutation are used in teaching, by which the student’s ability of understanding and programming is strengthened. In this paper Chinese pseudocode library is used to make teaching more specific; cases library is employed to make teaching content richer.This paper is mainly focused on:1. Firstly, the teaching cases library is created based on software engineering; secondly, the relationship between the entities is analysed on the basis of requirements in order to create the most common used E-R graph which then can be changed into physical models; finally data mining is used in the teaching cases and the database is created.2. The Chinese pseudocode library of Relational database (RDB) SQL can be created using SQL structure characteristics,SQL grammar standardization and Chinese natural query language.3. To find out the common used SQL in software development, then the common used SQL can be classified according to various kinds of cases, Carries on the classification by certain rule.4. SQL learning platform can be developed based on cases. In this paper three typical teaching cases will be covered to find out the general learning method of SQL. And CAI platform can be developed based on the Chinese pseudocode library and SQL grammar standardization.
