With the construction and development of Internet of Things, RFID (RadioFrequency Identification) technology and WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) has beenmore widely used. However, both techniques have their own advantages anddisadvantages. How to integrate network and maximize the advantages of the integratednetwork is a hot and difficult research point of the Internet of Things.The paper first illustrates the feasibility and necessity of integration of RFID andWSN two technologies, describing the current research progress in the filed ofintergrated network. Then the paper began to study on the passive RFID system designand implementation specifically. The selection and design of hardware, softwarealgorithm processes and tag anti-collision technology are discussed in detail. Then paperfocus on the fusion of the RFID network and WSN networks, give a detailed summaryof some typical RFID and WSN network convergence. At last, a multi-mode networkconvergence is proposed and related algorithms and intergrated network energyconsumption are given at the same time. And then we integrate the RFID and WSNnetwork by the method of the intelligent reader. Combined with the development ofinformation systems, a distributed system of attendance is achieved. Some tests aremade on the system to verify the reliability of the integrated network.The paper focuses on the following:1. Give the analysis of feasibility and necessity of the RFID and WSN integration,and describe the current research progress in the filed.2. Describe the working principle of passive RFID systems and key technologies indetail, such as querying cards, anti-collision algorithm with the flowchart. The circuitboards are produced further, and program on the microcontroller to implement thefunction such as multi-card query polling.3. Study on several integration of RFID and WSN in details, give a brief analysison each kind of converged network. Propose the integration of multi-mode transmissionnetwork, and a related algorithm and analysis of energy issues are given.4. Describe distributing attendance system design and implementation process, integrate the passive RFID reader and the Zigbee node in the hardware, develop asimple RFID middleware and Web information applications on the host computesystems, and the entire system is tested and analyzed.
