Wireless sensor network test platform plays an important role in the performanceanalysis and in-depth study and application for wireless sensor networks. The paperpresents the design and implementation of wireless sensor network test platform.Wireless sensor network test system consists of PC-side test platform and sensor nodes.Multiple sensor nodes arranged into a real network, according to different testingrequirements to complete the collection of test information, will send the packet to thetest platform through wireless. Test platform to collect and process the test data, andshow in chart form, achieve the analysis of WSN (wireless sensor network).This paper first summarizes and analyzes the development of wireless sensornetwork test platform in the world, analysis and compare the existed test platform, putforward a new program of wireless sensor network test platform.Then the part of the theory and simulation, establish the improved Elman rangingmodel of neural network by Matlab, analysis and study the RSSI, the LQI and thepacket reception rate, come to the Prrbetter reflect the quality of network links, and getthe link quality assessment model through the derivation of the formulation, andultimately set the link quality evaluation criteria.At last, elaborated the design and implementation of wireless sensor network testplatform. First, conduct a functional design of the wireless sensor platform. Thehardware platform of the test platform is based on Crossbow node, and to design theunderlying protocol, using the nesC programming in TinyOS system to achieve theunderlying software. Use VC6.0and SQL2008to develop the upper test interface, thetest platform can be achieved these function: the controlling of serial port, dataprocessing, show the real-time data, query the historical data, ranging assessment ofnodes, link quality of the node, monitor the node energy state, the positioning of thenode, display the topology of nodes. Finally wireless sensor network test platform usedin the test of node communication radius, validate all the features of the test platform.
