After decades of rapid development, array three-dimensional (3-D) imaging laserradar has broke through the limitation of the traditional point-to-point scanning3-Dimaging laser radar, which have huge effects in military and civilian for its highimaging speed, high range precision, and the compact structure will be the trend of thelaser radar. For its high range accuracy and the range accuracy is independent of thelaser pulse, the dual-channel gain modulation array3-D imaging radar system hascaught people’s attention.Imaging velocity and resolution restrict each other in airborne array3-D imaginglaser radar. Detection method and the signal-to-noise ratio of the detection system caninfluence the measurement accuracy of gain modulation array3-D imaging radar.Atmospheric attenuation, turbulent, and same other reasons will serious influence radarimaging and the detection probability. In order to solve the above problems, themethods of improve the ranging accuracy of the laser radar has been studied and theinfluence of the image quality when airborne laser radar real-time imaging has beenanalyzed, according to the ranging principle of gain modulation array3-D imaging radarsystem. Finally, the influence of the detection probability has been researched, when thetarget with different surface characteristics. The main contents involved in this dissertation are as follows:1. Analyzing the system structure of gain modulation array3-D imaging radarsystem. From the microwave radar range equation, elicit the equation of this laser radarsystem. And then the radar imaging principle is studied.2. According to gain modulation array3-D imaging radar system structure andranging principle, a set of high precision laser radar system has designed, and then thesystem’s design ideas, principles and methods have been elaborated. The rangingaccuracy and ranging error of this system’s have been analyzed at last.3. The image quality of this system is been discussed in this paper. The effect onthe forward image motion compensation of the TDI-CCD is studied at first, and thenanalysis the imaging quality of the aircraft in non-ideal state, finally, the impact of the aircraft’s attitude such as pitch, roll, yaw and non-constant flight speed on image qualityis studied.4. Analyzing the influence of the laser radar scattering section (LRCS) on thedetection probability of the gain modulation array3-D imaging radar system. And thenthe impact of different size of the goals and the target’s surface roughness on thedetection probability is researched.
