In modern warfare, ballistic missile is one of the perilous offensive weapons, and thus the ballistic missile defense system plays a key role in the early air defense warning area, whose main job is to identify the real warhead. The study of the recognition of ballistic missile targets is very important both for the attack and defense of our country, which provides theoretical support for the anti-missile system development in our country. This dissertation analyzed targets’micro-motions and electromagnetic scattering characteristics, build micro-motions’mathematical model, studied the time-varying regularity of micro-doppler and Radar Cross Section(RCS) of micro-motion targets’ echoes based on narrowband radar, studied multi-feature identification algorithms based on the feature extracted from RCS sequences, and simulated all these methods to verify the validity. The main job of this dissertation is as follows:1. Analyze the type of micro-motions of ballistic missile(BM) targets’group, study the methods of establishing different micro-motions model, which provided theoretical basis for build echoes model. Analyze how the moving targets modulate the frequency and magnitude of transmitted signal, deduce the expression of echoes based on "stop-jump" model.2. Analyze the correspondence relation between micro-dopper and micro-motions, study micro-doppler feature by time-frequency algorithms. The simulation showed that the micro-doppler characteristics can expose targets’micro-motions feature.3. Analyze the RCS sequences’property of static and dynamic targets; study methods of extracting characteristics of RCS sequences obtained by calculation of FEKO software, which verify that RCS sequences contribute to the target recognition.4. The recognition algorithms of multi-features fusion are studied and used to do the simulation based on the features extracted from RCS sequences, the simulation results showed that RCS sequences can help for the targets recognition.
