Starting from the nineties of last century, many domestic and foreign research institutions and scholars in the field of fiber grating sensor technology efforts among research, opened up a new era of fiber Bragg grating. In all areas of industry, in order to ensure smooth production, we need to monitor and analyze a variety of fluid flow. There are many problems of the traditional electric flow meter, so combining the traditional flow measurement principle and the fiber bragg grating sensing principle to develop high performance FBG flow sensor has great significance to the modern industrial process control. Flowmeter based on fiber bragg grating relative to the electric meter, showed a lot of advantages, such as high temperature, high accuracy, simple structure, safety explosion-proof, anti-electromagnetic interference, low power consumption, etc.Firstly, this article describes the fiber grating sensing technology, and give the advantages of the fiber bragg grating flow sensors. By analyze and contrast the several existing flowmeter of fiber grating bragg, give a new type of fiber bragg grating flowmeter combining with problems in practical application. Giveing a numerical simulation analysis of the FBG flow sensing model, which give guidance for the actual test. The main content of the paper is:Secondly, this article describes the fiber grating sensing technology, and give some of the problems of the traditional electronic flow sensors. Analyze the measurement principle of the several commonly used fiber grating flow sensor, and give some problems of them. Then describe the fiber bragg grating sensing mechanism, summary the FBG strain principle. Describe flow measurement principle and the flow measurement principle of several traditional differential pressure flow sensors.Thirdly, describe the finite element analysis software ANASYS, by using the finite element analysis method, we have designed a solid model and finite element model. In different flow velocity, analyze the static pressure field and celocity fleld of the FBG sensor model. In a summary, the folw sensor of the fiber bragg grating can give a better response to fluid flow.Again, on the basis of simulation analysis in the ANSYS finite element software, we design a mechanical model of the fiber bragg grating flow meter. By processing and ssembling the FBG flow meter model, finally, we using the flow experiment platform do the experiment. Give a experimental validation of the designed FBG flow sensor, by analyzing the experimental results obtained, we have a conclusion that the actual test is consistent with the theoretical analysis.Finally, we design a web-based FBG flow sensor analysis system. The system provides a good interface, the experimental data can be easily displayed to curve to chart, and to three-dimensional curve.
