In this paper, stability and H∞control problem for discrete-time singu-lar switched systems subject to actuator saturation are considered. Convex combination method is used to deal with the actuator and by linear matrix inequality (LMI) optimization problem, the state feedback controllers and H∞state feedback controllers are designed, which guarantee that the closed sys-tems are causal and stable. In chapter two, the stability for discrete-time singular switched systems subject to actuator saturation is discussed. A sufficient condition is obtained which guarantees that the discrete-time singular switched system subject to actuator saturation is regular, causal, and bounded state stable. With this con-dition, LMI optimization problem is obtained, and the state feedback controller can be reached by solving the LMI optimization problem. And a numerical example illustrates the effectiveness. In chapter three, the H∞. performance for discrete-time singular switched systems subject to actuator saturation is discussed. The design of H∞state feedback controller of closed system is developed based on LMI technique Also, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. In this paper, the results obtained are all LMI by using original coefficient matrices without transformations, which can be solved easily by Matlab.
