Moblie Malware Desktop Monitoring System Based On Android Platform

Up to now, there have been250million portable devices running Android operating system. As along with this explosive growth, more than500000applications based on Android OS have been provided. At present, Android has become one of the most popular mobile smartphone operating system in the world. Android OS mostly owes its success to its open nature. This nature attracts large number of Software developer to supply various kinds of applications for Android. However, this nature also gives malwares opportunity to come out. Once malwares attack and destroy users’ smartphone OS, they have to reset all settings or return their smartphone for repair. To make matters worse, malwares may be exploited by law breakers to steal users’ personal data and privacy information.This paper is focused on the issue of smartphone security which is about using phone’s desktop systems for monitoring and protection against malwares. The main duty of the desktop is about category management of the phone applications in order for users to scan and start applications easily. After adding safety monitoring module in the desktop system, users can immediately get the phone application installation, upgrade and uninstall information. More importantly, safety monitoring module will monitor those process and give users warning when they install or open a malicious program.In this paper, there are two aspects:1. Detailed analysis about the demand for desktop systems. Based on the result, overall design and implement Desktop system structure and provide the basic functions that Android desktop system should have.2. According to the characteristics of desktop systems, this paper suggests protection strategy to monitor malicious software for the desktop system. Using safety monitoring module added in the desktop system will effectively monitor and protect the entire system for users in four areas:opening application from the system, application installation and upgrades, the creation of shortcuts, click to open the applications and take the initiative to scan.
