This paper introduces a kind of fiber-optic sensor system to detect relevant regionalvibration caused by some reason. The entire system uses STM32MCU constitute a controlsystem implementing vibration signal sample and sending. In additional, micro-vibrationdetection system’s analysis software was developed by using Python language and the Mozillacompany’s XULRunner platform, which can process the collected vibration signal and completethe optical fiber sensors vibration testing of the laying of the region. The sampled mechanicalvibration signal can be converted to data graphics, which makes vibration condition can beviewed conveniently. It also can provide good conditions for the subsequent analysis of thevibration signal. Compared with traditional vibration sensing system, it has the followingadvantages: high sensitivity, strong anti-jamming capability, detection range, cross-platform,system stability.First, the paper briefly describes the basic structure and principles of fiber optic sensors bycomparison with traditional vibration sensors, and points out that the optical fiber vibrationsensor is an effective way to detect a wide range of mechanical vibration, it has a highapplication prospects.Second, we introduced the reason why selected STM32processor, and preparation of therelated module’s hardware circuit and the main program.Finally, the realization of the system’s PC software has been introduced. Mozilla’sXULRunner Software Development Platform and Python language were presented in detail. Thedescriptions of the service monitoring and graphic display are also presented.
