The Next Generation Network (NGN) has developed rapidly on network services, withthe rapidly development of Internet and the VOIP widely growing up. In particularly, it can beinterworking between IP network and traditional PSTN in NGN. Real-time Voice service canbe provided in IP backbone network. Openness is an important feature of the NGN. As theservice ability is open to service provider in NGN, resulting in diversity of business supplyand large number of services, which makes the Feature interactions more and more complex.Feature interaction is inevitably in NGN.The new characteristics of NGN make the FeatureInteraction more severe and complex.The third party service providers are unwilling toexpose the business logic in order to maintain their own economic interests, which make theservice interaction detection relying on the traditional static modeling method unpractical inNGN.Therefore, the dynamic FI method is used by getting the real-time service instancesignal message, and the conflict detection algorithm is designed for business conflictdetection.First, the NGN value-added service developed platform is built, and the servicedevelopment environment is configured. Then, the composition and the work principle of themiddleware called CCPM module, along with the communication between the CCPM moduleand the SoftCo is researched. The design and development of six basic value-added servicessuch as call forwarding in service platform using the SDK package provided by the CCPMmodule. At last, a specific service instance is provided.The service is classified according to the service feature. Both a simple servicedescription language and the service behavior modeling which are proposed out provideservice metadata and behavior information for feature interaction detection. Then thecomposition framework of the Feature Interaction Manager is posed out, along with the detaildesign and implementation method of FIM. Focus on the two kinds of feature interactiondetection algorithm including signaling circle and service will are researched.Based on the services implement in the NGN value-added development platform and theFIM designed in the paper, a number of service-instance interaction scenes are designed. Thefeature interaction expected results can be inferred according to the actual operation of theservice instances, and then compare with the detection results of FIM, which verify thefeasibility and rationality of the FIM.The analysis of service behavior is depended on the signal message in the operational phase of the service instances. Feature interaction pre-judgment shortened greatly thedetection time. The dynamic feature interaction algorithm is very applicable in NGN whichhas so much complex service interaction problems. It is the reference for the FI academiaresearch.
