With the development of the information technology, the cloud computing acts as an emerging computation model appearing in IT industry. It’s the product of combination of the development of network technology and traditional computers such as distributed computing, parallel computing, virtualization, networked storage and load balancing. The cloud computing integrates different kinds of computing resources and storage resources together trough network connection and then form the resource pool. After that at the level of resource service, it offers the poor performing or high performing virtual computing resources in reference to single virtualization technology or many machine virtualizations for customers according to business requirements. Then at the platform level, it offers different kinds of application development service for users. Finally, at the application layer, it offers software application service.At the resource layer, Cloud computing combines all the integrating computing resources together through network connection in cluster way, and these clusters regroup the resource poor through control management system, and then client service terminal at the resource level distributes the resources in the resource pool in the form of virtual machine for the users according to the business requirements as to supply its business application operating normally. However the clouding computing attributions and its forms of resource combination certainly will make the load balancing in the resource pool or the online maintenance of server a very important subject.In the Iaas layer of cloud computing resource service, it’s closer to the dynamic distribution business application for the bottom hardware resource than to the distribution of the application service resources for the application service provider. Because the application service is deployed in the virtual machine, while the virtual machine is from physical virtual machine, so when some virtual machine’s workload is too hard to influence the host, this virtual machine (so called "workload")can be distributed to other physical machine dynamically through migration. This article aims at settle the problem of load balancing through the study of the virtual machine’s automatic migration in the resource pool. It mainly contains the following aspects:1. Chapter two summarize and report the cloud computing model and introduce the cloud computing infrastructure and its architecture in details, and on basis of the virtualization technology study the structure of cloud computing resource pool and put forward to use the virtual machine’ dynamic migration to deal with the load balancing. 2. Chapter three study the virtual machine’s dynamic migration as to settle the problem of work load balance in the cloud computing pool and analyze the blemish of the traditional virtual machine’ dynamic migration in the resource pool.3. Chapter four undertake from these aspects such as the cause of migration, the reception of migration information warning, the launch and the executive of the migration to design and realize the suitable structure of virtual machine’ dynamic migration in the resource pool of cloud computing.4. Chapter five built the migration experimental environment, through the migration from the high load server to the low load server, to balance the workload between them. The benchmark acts as the workload to realize the migrating experiment and measures that the downtime is millisecond timescale, and it basically does no influence the users’ normal visit to the application business.
