Research On Conformance Testting Of LDP Protocol Based On E-Lotos

With the rapid development of computer network technology, the network protocol becomes more and more diverse and complex. At the same time, protocol development is also faced increasing challenges. Protocol conformance test is used to verify the consistency of protocol implementation and protocol standards. It is a key to ensure the correct interconnection and interoperability of various computer systems.MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) is a kind of IP backbone network technology. It is used to solve the problems faced by IP technology development. The main problems are the low transmission efficiency and the quality of service which can not be guaranteed. LDP (Label Distribution Protocol) is the core technology of MPLS. LDP protocol interact the information about the forward structure of the mark. The main function of the LDP is establishing, treating, sending these information to form an accurate reflection of the domain network topology of MPLS. The accuracy of LDP affects the reliability of MPLS services and applications directly.In the paper, firstly, the LDP protocol has been studied and E-LOTOS is used to model the FSM of LDP protocol. Then use PATSAG to generate TTCN-3abstract test suite. Secondly, the executable test cases are generated from TTCN-3abstract test suite automatically using JAVA; For the Non-state machine part, the executable test cases are generated by manual. Finally, set up the test platform. The Cisco7200, the Quidway netEngine40E and routing simulation software GNS3are used to test. Then analyze the experimental results.
