Design And Implementation Of Composition Continuance System Based On J2EE Workflow

The composition is an important and difficult part of Chinese teaching. Composition level is the comprehensive reflection of Chinese ability. There are many problems in traditional classroom composition teaching, such as the lacking of writing material, the simple way of evaluation and correction, the inadequate and untimely communication and feedback between teachers and students, and students’passive acceptance in the teachers-led teaching process and so on. These problems not only cause low effectiveness of composition teaching, but also make writing become a challenge for students in Chinese learning."Chinese Course Standard" clearly puts forward the implementing suggestion that Chinese teacher should construct a good environment to encourage students to write imaginary things and stimulate students’ imagination and creativity in primary school composition teaching. The practice of composition continuance not only can exercise students’ imagination, logical thinking and language expression ability, but also can train students’writting thoughts ability based on understanding other people’s works.In the era of information technology rapid development, composition continuance plays an important role in primary school composition teaching. Composition teaching platform based on network can solve some problems which occurred in traditional classroom teaching. But existing network platform such as wikis, blogs and QQ space, have some problems when they are applied in composition teaching.Considering the deficiencies of above platforms, the author tries to combine tightly modern educational technology with new curriculum of basic education. On the base of deeply analysising the theories about computer supported collaborative learning, learner-centered humanistic learning, workflow and J2EE technology and so on, the author researches and develops a network platform which serves for Chinese composition continuance.The new platform attempts to construct a system that meets pupils character, has friendly interface,suitable for composition teaching and can remedy the defects listed above.During the process of the system developing, the author firstly analyzes and design the structure and function of the system on the whole, then makes a brief introduction of key technology for the development. Secondly the author makes a detailed description for the development environment, the implementation process of each core function modules and workflow engine, and then tests the function of the system. The results show that the system can solve the deficiencies of traditional classroom teaching. Finally, the author makes a summary of the research, and points out the innovation points and the shortcomings of the research. Meanwhile the article outlines some development trends of the composition continuance system in the future.
