With the rapidly developing of the Internet and the popularizing of the education information technology, lecture video has received attention and been used widely in the education field. In our country’s current education field, to the current situation, government, schools and companys have established lecture video databases, but lecture video resources have existed problems in the retrieval, use, interaction and so on. Facing the massive lecture videos, how to overcome the problems, how to quickly and efficiently ensure that users can, at any time, quickly and comprehensively, retrieve the target resources become increasingly important. Therefore, for the study of the teaching video, combined with the status of the teaching video features, custom development of a full-text search system is necessary.This paper first analyzes the current situation and problems of the present lecture video resources, introduces the mainstream content-based video retrieval technology and well-known video retrieval system, and gives the relevant academic literature of the Lucene search engine; Then put forward general architecture and the core module design of the lecture video retrieval system. System platform, integrated set of tools were introduced later; Finally, according to the needs of the retrieval system and design ideas, based on Lucene search engine, we design and implement a high-performance lecture video information retrieval system. The system is divided into four modules:semantic information injection, full-text indexing, resource retrieval, the results indicate. Each module not only achieves its own function, but also can complete the interaction between each other.The retrieval system has also been tested and analyzed in the paper. The tested data and analysis results show the efficiency of the teaching video retrieval system, the recall, precision, and user satisfaction indicators have reached the design requirements. In the end, explore and practice the system platform and application model.
