Fiber Bragg grating (FBG) has a small size, light weight, distance transmission, anti-electromagnetic interference, corrosion resistance, passive, etc., it is becoming the focus of the sensing field of study, is often used to measure the stress/temperature and strain a new type of optical fiber sensors, its application will have a very broad prospects for development.The main contents of this article is to design a practical fiber Bragg grating strain sensors. Provide the necessary sensing support for post-manipulator or robot. Fiber Bragg grating as the object of study, and its sensing mechanism of cross-sensitivity and stress sensitizing analyzed in depth. Consider the actual application, focusing on the discourse Fiber Bragg Grating cross sensitivity, stress sensitivity programs and space force measurement.Papers around the use of fiber Bragg grating strain sensing commence.
