A3D Measurement System Design By Phase Method And Research On Visualization

Obtaining objects’3D information is one of significant methods for people to understand the world. With the development of laser, computer science and such advanced technologies, optical3D measurement technology has improved further together. In reality, some research results have been inverted into products; however, due to their complexities and cost, they have not been adopted by wide range. Consequently,3D measurement system design and the research on visualization are full of significance and application value.Due to grating projection phase method’s merits including:non-contact, high accuracy, full-field, fast measurement and easy to apply, etc. it is selected as the basic principle for the measuring system; by analyzing the comparisons of various algorithms of phase demodulation and unwrapping, the suitable algorithm is selected; design the measuring system’s hardware and software which contain the mechanical construction, the system’s control circuit, achieve the precise control of grating projection phase movement by applying division drive of step motor, develop the system’s control program in the upper computer based on Visual Basic; show the original cloud data under the MFC circumstance embedded in Visual Studio together with OpenGL.The experiments indicate that the measuring system is easy to operate, running stable and steady; we can satisfy the experiments’requirements by working of high precision of grating projected phase under control of upper computer’s program and the image acquisition system. Later with the3D Visualization technology based on OpenGL, we successfully import and show the original cloud data, which set a stage for later analysis and split joint technologies of cloud data.
