With the development of economy in our country, the constant improvement ofpeople’s level of physical living and mental living, our country invest much capitalin infrastructure construction, by doing that the construction market is broadeninggradually. It is a main development direction to enhance their own competitions thathow the enterprise of construction uses scientific management to conserve resourcesand cut costs on the premise of ensure quality. Nevertheless, the ProjectManagement is a new subject in recent decades, and it is still in steady improvement.In recent years, It is a main trend of the development of the Project Managementthat applied the information manage technology to the Project Management. Usingadvanced technology of computer to integrate quality, time and cost of project, it letthe project planning of construction make scrupulous, scientific, desirable andfeasible. Furthermore, the method of project management not only is a research hotpoint of Project Management, but also is a poor point of Project Management at thepresent time.Since Dr. Petri proposed Petri Net at1962, Petri Net is become one of hotresearch fields of scholars. The main research directions are the analysis of Petri Net,the extension of Petri Net and the application of Petri Net. Due to the strong capacityof Petri Net describe synchronous system and asynchronous system, Petri Net hasgot its rapid development. By now, Petri Net are applied in the office automation, theproduction of enterprise, and other fields.Through the study of Petri Net, this paper applied Petri Net to the ProjectManagement of construction. Firstly, presenting an Expenses Timed Petri Net tosolve a defect of which the Timed Petri Net can not describe the expenses of project.Furthermore, analysing the application of ETPN in project time-cost management.finally, this paper integrating the parallel computation and the linear programming topresent a new arithmetic, which is compute a critical path, and prove its validity andcorrectness. This paper makes mainly the following contributions:(1) Study main results of the research on Petri Net and the Project Management,and analyse the development of construction in recent year, and the prime features ofproject of construction.(2) Applying Timed Petri Net to plan modeling of project’s duration, andanalysing this model with methods of Timed Petri Net, and computing this model’scritical path, and proving its correctness and feasibility.(3) Through the analysis of Timed Petri Net, consider how described the cost ofand time of project with Petri Net, and present an analysis method to optimization oftime-cost of project.(4) Through analysing and studying parallel algorithm and linear programming,present a relative linear programming based on parallel algorithm, which is usedcomputing the critical path of Time Petri Net.
