since Images defogging techniques has appeared, it has become a hot topic in the research field of image. Images defogging techniques to ensure the normal production and living has play a decisive role role. After more than10years of development, image dehazing studies have made some achievements, but there are many areas that need improvement and strengthening of.DSP has high-speed parallel processing capabilities, data throughput and continuously improve, more and more extensive application. In digital image processing, DSP has a wide range of applications. This paper studies the algorithm, is a large number of pixel data for repetitive operations, combined with DSP in the aspects of characteristics, the combination of image processing to the fog. This system is running by means of an image sensor to collect a fog image, then the fog image data processing, then save it to the SD card.The first part of this paper is mainly on the DSP fog image defogging system design of the main theoretical basis, gives this paper chapter arrangement. The second part start from the atmospheric scattering model, analysed environmental light model and light scattering model, the two model reflects the inherent reason of the formation of fog image. The method of this paper is mainly based on image enhancement approach, then studied image enhancement for contrast enhanced histogram equalization method. The histogram equalization method, the paper studies the global histogram equalization method and local histogram equalization in three ways, according to the three ways for matlab simulation. According to the simulation result, this put forward a kind of limit noise solution. The third part of this article explains in detail the DSP system overall design diagram, including image acquisition part, CPLD control system, DSP image processing part and the SD card storage portion,I given the detailed description of each module design and realization. The fourth part of the article to CCS3.3as software development platform, on the RGB to HSV conversion process, the HSV space V component processing.Small fog, mist, fog weather conditions three pictures were processed, for each image of the histogram distribution, from the transform of images before and after information entropy and operation time on the program running results made a comparative analysis.In this paper, the design of DSP image defogging system has a good stability, the algorithm with a high efficiency.The system realizes the stable, flexible fog image processing platform, Basically the system has achieved the design requirements.
