Self-Assessment Of Banking Software System Quarlity And Production Readiness

This paper studies the software development features for financial and banking industry, such as timeliness, uniformity, stability, security, confidentiality and etc. These characteristics determine the quality requirements on banking software. This article describes a software development framework for bank and quality assessment methods. Software development process, including project initiation, requirements gathering, project planning, system architecture.and design, coding and unit testing, system testing, independent testing, system implementation and deployment, post implementation and deployment. For each phase of the project, it describes the entry critireas, the tasks to be completed and project deliver. This article describes a method of project quality management, project quality self-assessment and production readiness self-assessment.The paper focuses and research the project quality self-assessment and systems production readiness assessment methodology during software engineering management, it analysis and compare these two assessments for evaluation purposes, organization, content and assessment process.It set up a list of checkpoint for Project quality self-assessment for each stage of the development process, which runs through the entire project development cycle, development process, planning, design, testing, deployment steps, until the end of the project. This paper discusses these checkpoints. System production readiness self-assessment is conducted before system launch, base on the operational characteristics of other systems or related components as well as system service level agreements. the service commitment will assess system technology, architecture, business operation readiness, deployment. The paper also describe sercurity acceptance testing, opeation acceptance testing and risk control etc these banking particular check points. In this thesis, it discussed how to do project quality assessment and production readiness self-assessment with a bank software system as an instance. The paper first describes system functionalities and architecture, and then use the quarlity assessment and production readiness self-assessment for this system. In this paper a detailed analysis of the evaluation process and results of the assessment item by item analysis and discusses the obtained results of the assessment of the software, to a certain extent. It also discussed the problems during assessment, and the corresponding solution and action plan.Finally, the paper summarizes the problems and prospects for self-assessment, and suggestions for improvement requirements.
