At present, the Internet has entered the Web2.0age. Users access to information through a browser on Web1.0site. Compared with Web1.0site, a Web2.0site allows users to interact and collaborate with each other and the users are not only the viewers but also the creators of web content. Blog (BLOG), encyclopedia (wiki), social networks (SNS), P2P, instant messaging (IM) are typical representatives of the Web2.0technology. In particular, the rise of SNS (Social Network Site) gradually seizes the entire Internet market in recent years, more and more mainstream sites have joined the competition. U.S. Facebook is a pioneer of the SNS website. In the domestic, with the rapid development of Renren, Happy Nets, Friends of Tencent, White society of Sohu, Taojianghu and other SNS community, the SNS site formed a greater influence in China’s Internet users. Almost all the Internet companies are developing and improving their SNS sites to attract more users.Ensure that such large SNS site operating stably is the ability to win a victory among SNS websites. The quality of the SNS website is the most important. Because of the testing of SNS site can cover all aspects of web testing, we should do many different tests on SNS site and design an effective test proposal. This paper firstly introduces requirements analysis and overall architecture of the SNS website. Secondly, illustrates how to design the test proposal for each type of test:develop a testing strategy, define the test scope and design test methods for the related test points. Thirdly, introduces the whole process of testing implementation of the SNS website and also researches the technique of web testing including unit testing, security testing, performance testing and automated testing. Finally, summarizes the testing work and gain valuable experiences. In the future, we will apply these experiences to our daily work.
