Mobile operators in China have launched TD-LTE large scale trail in key cities from2011till now. The main purpose is to verify TD-LTE key network functions, performance and E2E networking ability. Due to the commercial frequency is not clear in the trail phase, the networking solution is flexible based on different frequency bandwidth. Intra-frequency networking is one of the most important technologies which are liable to use in this phase. How to evaluate the performance of intra-frequency networking is the main work in study for TD-LTE development. Compare to2G,3G and other mobile network systems, OFDM, MIMO and other key technologies for TD-LTE make much more changes in interference features. Meanwhile, TD-LTE commercial frequency will be official approved along with the industry chain become mature and stronger; operators would have various choices in networking solutions.The paper is mainly focusing on the research of TD-LTE system intra-frequency interference features and solution for anti-interference, physical channels intra-frequency abilities and ICIC technology effect via system simulation and the comparison of intra-frequency network, inter-frequency network and FSFR.The paper defines all kind of interference existing in TD-LTE system via the analysis on TD-LTE frame structure. The author has proposed three common intra-interference resist solutions:Interference randomization, interference avoidance and interference suppression. For TD-LTE physical control channels, the research is mainly on the simulations of demodulation threshold and detection rate under intra-frequency network. Meanwhile, the author also gives the analysis of the key control channel-constrained condition. By the research in the influence effect of data channels intra-frequency to data traffic and pilot carrier, the paper introduces several useful technologies which will be helpful for data channels intra-frequency networking, such as ICIC, power control and scheduling mechanism and gives the simulation of downlink/uplink ICIC technologies. By using the technologies mentioned above, the paper also illustrate the real test result of intra-frequency network in TD-LTE Large Scale Trail to prove the possibility and the performance of TD-LTE intra-frequency network, list the advantage and disadvantage of the networking solution via data analysis at the same time. Meanwhile, we could also get the result that under intra-frequency network, the cell coverage, cell edge user’s throughput and the network performance and KPI are highly related to intra-frequency network.In the other hand, the article also compares three typical networking solutions (intra-frequency networking, inter-frequency networking and FSFR) by simulations and real network test result. The result proves that intra-frequency really has high spectral efficiency, but the network performance is worse than inter-frequency network and FSFR. In the end, the author gives some suggestion on TD-LTE network deployment, design and optimization in different period.
