How to make full use of network resource to achieve wireless transmission with low power consumption and high performance has become a major challenge in the research of cooperative communication technology. Focusing on multi-user cooperative communication system, the power control and channel allocation schemes are investigated based on game and convex optimization theories in this thesis. For cooperative communication networks with self-interested users over interference channels, a utility learning based multi-leader multi-follower game-theoretic power allocation scheme is proposed to jointly allocate the power of users and relays. Firstly, introducing the price scheme, the relays are allowed to ask for some reward for cooperative communication. The interaction between relays and users is modeled as a two-level Stackelberg game, where relays are leaders and the users are followers. Meanwhile, the users are supposed to compete for the power resource by a non-cooperative fashion. Likewise, the interaction and competition among the relays is also modeled as a non-cooperative game. To reduce the complexity of the proposed scheme and communication overhead caused by information exchange, a utility learning algorithm is employed to distributed update the strategy only based on local CSI.Considering the differences of link quality and QoS of users, a fairness and QoS constraints channel allocation approach is proposed for multi-user cooperative communication system. Firstly, the proportional fairness scheme is introduced to make sure that all the users in system will obtain fairer transmission rate since the competitiveness of users with poor link quality is improved. And the utility functions are designed for real-time and non-real-time users respectively. With utility functions, the users’satisfaction can be mapped to QoS factors so as to meet the different requirement of users’service. Then, the channel allocation is formulated as a utility maximization problem and can be solved with Lagrangian relaxation method. Meanwhile, in order to reduce the complexity of the proposed algorithm, the system channels are firstly allocated among real-time users to meet their minimum rate requirements. Then, the residual channels are allocated to non-real-time users to maximize their utility. Finally, the simulation results demonstrates the efficiency of the proposed Multi-leader multi-follower game power control mechanism and channel allocation algorithm with fairness and QoS constraints in multi-user cooperative networks by Matlab.
