Virtual reality technology, including fluid simulation is now nearly been widelyused in many areas of real life, especially extensive used in special effects in film andtelevision,video games and animation. Fluid simulation as an important branch of thevirtual reality technology to simulate the fluid everywhere in real life, whether it is therolling waves, splashing water or waterfalls, and so are the different forms belong to thescope of the fluid simulation.In this thesis, the main research content is a number of challenging issues aboutrealistic fluid simulation technology in dynamic and complex environment. the coreresearch mainly includes four aspects.First, the simulation algorithm based on numerical simulation of fluid animation.SPH method as an element-free method, the fluid as a collection of a large numberof moving particles, each particle contains pressure, position, speed, density and otherproperties. These particles, with its own material qualities and be controlled by externaland internal forces, moved in accordance with the law of conservation of mass andmomentum of the fluid motion.Second, fluid and triangular mesh interaction based on collision detection.A novel fluid boundary control algorithm based on collision detection, unlike theborder control based on particle performance, that interact with the border particlesattributable to process of the fluid simulation. The approach based on collision detectionabout fluid and triangular mesh reduce the coupling of objects simulation and fluidsimulation, making it more independent, more in line with the real world, so that theboundary shape is more diverse, the boundary conditions more flexible, moreimportantly, so that the boundary change no longer affect the fluid simulationconditions, the fluid through the collision detection automatically senses the border toproduce changes.Third, change the fluid motion based on regional constraints and wind force field.Regional constraints to achieve, when close to the constraint region during thesimulation, the fluid does not penetrate the constraint region, the constraint region can also give fluids to provide additional force to change the fluid motion.The wind field simulation is the force of the wind in real life. It is necessary to addthe role of wind in the simulation space to simulate the spray of the water, layers ofripples.Fourth, the editor based on fluid simulation.The visual editor subsystem provides a visualization of fluid and rigid body motionsimulation and creation platform of physical animation content. Through the visualinterface to provide users with efficient, easy-to-use fluid and rigid body motionsimulation and integrated environment for physical animation content creation. Visualeditor subsystem provides a series of well-designed tools, operation is simple, easy touse.
