If Deep Space Detection is the key for human being to explore the mysteries of the universe, then Deep Space Communication is the password to get the key. The Deep Space Communication System is an important technical support in Deep Space Detection, which is responsible for the information exchange between the Earth and the spacecraft, and other important tasks of instructions and data transmission.Because of the long distance, complicated environment, limited equipment and energy, the Deep Space Communication has much higher requirement of system performance than Earth-ground Communication System. In order to meet the requirement of Deep Space Communication the technology of Fountain Codes is introduced, which has advantages of low complexity and excellent performance. This paper will open up the studies of the application of Fountain Codes in Deep Space Communication in depth:Firstly, the concept of Deep Space Communication and the research of the Fountain Codes will be briefly introduced.Secondly, this paper will give the principle and construction program of the system LT code in detail, which has low complexity, and small overhead. After some changes in the structure of LT code, linear complexity of it doesn’t change through this construction program.Thirdly, this article will introduce the doping code, LT code, and the parallel concatenated coding schemes of the two codes, and put forward a new code which is named DLT code. This article analyzes the characteristics and optimization of the degree distribution in depth. After that, QS-DLT code which has better performance will be given, this code is found through the optimization of the degree distribution of DLT code. The performance of QS-DLT code is much better than that of DLT code, but the structure of QS-DLT code destroys the characteristics of system codes, so we call QS-DLT code as a quasi-systematic code. Both DLT code and QS-DLT code have excellent performance, low complexity, and potential application.In the last part, distributed LT codes are given. The author gives the principle of the two sources and four sources distributed LT codes, including the characteristic of distributed LT code, the deconvolution process of degree distribution. After that, we construct the system two sources distributed LT codes, and simulate the distributed LT codes. Results of the study for Fountain Codes are offering a few coding schemes in Deep Space Communication. |
