It is known to all that there are deeper channel fading between base stations andusers. The interference from neighbor stations is escalating. Users on the edge of basestation have a low signal to interference and noise ratio (SINR) in cell communicationsystems. So people put forward Coordinated Multi-points (CoMP) technology to solvesuch problems. It could convert the interference which from neighbor stations toserviceable signal through coordinate transmit different base stations in cooperatingway.Transmitters should know the channel state information (CSI) between basestations and users in CoMP system. But it is very difficult for base station to get theperfect channel state information in Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) communicationsystem. So it requires us to introduce the limited feedback scheme. The traditionallimited feedback scheme is based on codebook quantification. Because of the limitedbandwidth of uplink control channel, the traditional codebook quantification could notsatisfy our requirements in most of the time. So rotating codebook is proposed to reducethe feedback bits in CoMP system. Meanwhile, a simple CoMP communication modelabout hardware is given to verify the different feedback mode in virtual environment. The structure of this dissertation is as follow. The first chapter briefly introduces CoMP system, principle, development, and thestructure of CoMP hardware platform. The second chapter presents the model of CoMP system, two styles of transmission:Joint Processing (JP) and Coordinate Beamforming (CB) and the notion of SignalLeakage Noise Rate (SLNR). Then these two transmission styles are simulated andcompared in SLNR algorithm.Chapter III introduces multiuser eigenmode transmission (MET) and rotatingcodebook. Then the performance of ideal feedback, MET feedback,6bit feedback and3bit rotation feedback are compared through simulation in SLNR algorithm.Chapter IV focuses on the hardware realization, and introduces the internalstructure of this model. After that, the logical design about base station, user and their internal modules with resource consumption are discussed.Chapter V analyzes the realization result of CoMP system, and compares theperformance of various feedback schemes in virtual environment.Chapter VI concludes this dissertation, and discusses the departments that could beimproved.
