Three-dimensional objects reconstruction technology is the basis of3D information technology. This technology is widely used in film and television animation, games. entertainment, heritage preservation, medical imaging and other fields.To reconstruct a Colored3D model, we must get range images and color imformation from the surface of the object using3D data acquisition equipment. To acquire a complete model of an object, we must scan the object from Multi-View, register range images.and then merge all images together in an unified coordinate system. The key in the process of3D reconstruction is the registration of range images, which influences the final result.The paper introduces the process of getting3D models using range images, analysis the imaging principle and the advantages and disadvantages of the mainstream3D data equipment. In the pairwise registration stage, we analysis the ICP algorithm and Color_ICP algorithm, compared the pros and cons of the two algorithms.using geometric and texture information for searching mathing points; in the global registration stage.we using geometric and texture information to caculate residuals after each iteration,then re-weighted each matching pair of vertex based on these residuals.The results of reconstruction experiment show that, the color model reconstructed by our methods and steps get a clear texture and smooth surface, reached the expected rebuild purpose.After summing up the research work, this paper points out some future research works.
