This paper describes a kind of data process platform witch based on the VPX architecture, and describes some key technologies in this system. This system make up of three parts, the first is system signal input and output part, in which the system input signals come from multi-channels high speed ADC and the system output signals is generated by the multi-channels high speed DAC, both the ADC and DAC connect to the system with the FMC connector; the second is signal processing part, which makes up of high speed signal processing carrier card、backplane、switch board card、system control board card and clock board card that combined into a VPX chassis, each high speed board card uses the high speed VPX connector to interact with the system and communicates with each other with the help of switch board card and backplane; the third is memory part, which makes up of memory controller and disk array, it is used to implement high speed digital signal to memory with real time. This paper uses high speed data sampling、transfering and reaction system to test and verify the capability of high speed data sampling in this system., and uses the high speed data sampling、 transfer and memory system to test and verify the capability of the2GByte/s memory. With the working theory of the two system, this paper content include that the implementation of the multi-channels ADC interface circuit in the FPGA、the FPGA implementation of the multi-channels DAC interface circuit、the FPGA implementation and application of the high speed serial data transport links with AURORA protocol and SFPDP protocol.At the end of the system design and relational circuit design, using the EDA and MATLAB software to implement the circuit simulation and using the hardware testing platform to analyze and verify the testing results. With the testing result, finding that the high speed data sampling and memory system witch based on the VPX architecture can implement dual-channels500MSPS and12bits resolution precision data sampling、 transmitting and reaction function and has the abilities to implement2GByte/s data memory function with real time.with the test results we can prove that the functionality veracity of the FPGA implementation of the multi-channels ADC interface circuit、the functionality veracity of the FPGA implementation of the multi-channels DAC interface circuit and the functionality veracity of the FPGA implementation of the high speed serial data transport links, we can also prove the realizability of the data process platform witch based on the VPX architecture.
