Design And Implementation Of Securities Insider Trading Inspection Data Query And Analysis System

With China’s booming stock market, the ranks of investors were growing, the number ofinsider trading case was showing rising trend, insider trading affected the stability of the stockmarket and damaged the interests of medium and small investors, it might cause social unrestwhen the situation becomed serious, so the insider trading case inspection was an importanttask of a Securities Regulatory Bureau.In the inspection of insider trading case, the investigators needed to collect evidencedocuments of the investigated. Evidence documents had the characteristics of large quantity,many kinds and miscellaneous sources, many of them are hand-sorting, it had the trouble ofinconvenient archiving and easy making mistakes. The evidence data in the evidencedocuments had the problems of nonuniform data formats, many noise data, missing values,and so on, it was time-consuming and laborious for the investigators to put the evidencedocuments in order and process the format of evidence data, which seriously affected theirwork efficiency. Therefore, some Securities Regulatory Bureau put forward the softwaredevelopment demand of the Securities Insider Trading Inspection Data Query and AnalysisSystem, which objective was to ahieve the management of messy and disorder evidence data,and to use the processed evidence data for data analysis, its last purpose was to assist theinvestgators to find case clues.The development of the system had a sense of real-world applications, the messy,disorder, non-standard data existed prevalently in real-life situations, this paper explored theissues of data processing and application in such environment. Under the circumstances ofpoor data quality data processing methods, data storage methods and data application methodsin query and analysis were designed and implemented in the system development process. Inthe concrete implementation, it adopted the method for evidence documents to Checking forduplicate and then put them together orderly; it adopted the thought of data extraction,cleaning and transformation in ETL(Extraction-Transformation-Loading) for evidence data;according to the evidence characteristics the rules for data processing were designed; for data storage, it adopted the approach to the appropriate data redundant and relationships redundantto support the system query and analysis founction; in data applications, it used the functionof free grouping, and transformed the methods and thoughts that the investigators analyzedevidence data into data application model of this system. According to the characteristics ofthe issues to be addressed, Visual FoxPro9.0was selected as the development tool of thissystem, the development target of this system was achieved ultimately.The content of this paper was the generalization and summary of technology solutions onthe subject of the processing and application of non-standard data in the system developmentprocess, which accumulated experience for the software development in the similar dataenvironment in the future.
