Diffuse optical tomography(DOT) is emerging as a viable new biomedical imaging modality. Using visible and near-infrared light this technique can probe the absorption and scattering properties of biological tissues. The main applications are currently in brain, breast, limb and joint imaging; because of its safety, no radiation damage, DOT is attracting increasing attention. This method has many of advantages which include the price of the technology of the imaging equipment cheap, fast data collection, applies to the patients for long time monitoring, with other imaging technologies all advantages.In the diffuse optical tomography research model of uniform background situation more abnormal area reconstruction, this paper puts forward a kind of adaptive regional growth of diffuse optical tomography algorithm, which the aim is to raise quality and reconstruction, speed up the reconstruction process. This paper sets each area of the internal physical characteristics and biological characteristics of constant, and the biological tissue is the background of the condition which parameters is known and based on the regional growth strategy quickly imaging reconstruction, this reconstruction which based on the abnormal area. In the process of reconstruction, with the traditional body element reconstruction after a few times, experiment will product the initial rebuild model, according to the model initialization center. Through the experiment model of regional anomaly re-established the absorption coefficient image reconstruction results, the introduction of the four numerical index, used to better balance regional reconstruction of abnormal quality. Experimental results show that the method can effectively reduce the reconstruction, overcome the reconstruction process happens in morbid, and improve the abnormal area of the accuracy of the image reconstruction.In order to speed up the anomaly area reconstruction efficiency in the area of growth diffuse optical tomography of the algorithm, this paper puts forward the method to reconstruct regional anomaly area, this method determines the target area constantly searching for the right anomaly area. In the traditional body element reconstruction, the first step determines seed point target number and its center. The second step reconstructs center area. Experimental results show that the method effectively reduce the reconstruction of the large scale of the system, overcomes reconstruction morbid, improves the accuracy of the reconstructed image and contrast.This paper also studies the3d optical tomography reconstruction problem. As a division to tetrahedral element to the cube in the area of whole division, each cube is divided into five tetrahedron profile, so as to construct a three dimensional space finite element model. The application of finite method is to solve reverse problem, the algorithm of accuracy of regional growth is put forward in this paper. The experimental results show that this method has the accuracy of the abnormal area reconstruction and reconstruction of speed have been improved greatly.
