With the rapid development of Internet technology, the problem of network information overload is more and more obvious.How to obtain the required information quickly from the mass information on the internet, which has become an urgent problem. RSS changed the way of obtaining information because of its simplicity and versatility. The technology of RSS which can aggregate the information on the internet makes users find out the information they need by the format of RSS rather than login in many portals to search for the information they need. But because of the repetitiveness of most RSS news, which lead to the high repetitive rate of information, and lack of good connection in the content of news.The study is based on the RSS source of information technology, combined with the practical application in the2011China family-serving robots match as the background of research to design the internet information’s search function for the family-serving robot. Firstly, this study analyzes the XML file, and tag the title of news analyzed by using the open module of Chinese word segmentation and speech tagging methods. Then, these news are differentiated and stored according to date. And according to the key words by users afforded, robot can retrieve RSS news and the detail of related news, and filter the similar contents of news, which are based on the traditional RSS. So this system can find the relevant information more accurately on the internet.Finally, according to the operation, statistics, comparison and analysis of system, and the introduction of the value of P and R and the evaluation parameter, a good result is achieved. This function module has been successfully used in the2011China family-serving robots match, and achieved good effect.
