As technologies advance rapidly and information technologies are widely utilized, theinternet has become the essential tool for people to communicate and do business with eachother day by day. In recent years, internet technologies applied in banking bas been in a greatdeal and come to maturity gradually. The widely popularized online banking has been playingan important role and becoming one of the important businesses of banks.Especially the J2EEtechnology is providing a good framework for the designing of the structure of the onlinebanking system.There are two core concepts in J2EE technology: the concept of hierarchy andthe concept of geometric group.The two concepts are presenting well in the MVC pattern ofJ2EE technology. It can separate the presentation hierarchy, operation logic hierarchy andcontrol hierarchy.The operations in each hierarchy are divided into single geometric groups,so that it can be easily developed and maintained. It’s very useful for the designing andimplementation of the online banking system.But in the mean time, since the active hackersand Trojan are making a great deal of damage to the hardware and software of internet, thesecurity problem of online banking has become a remarkable issue.Based on the existing online banking system, and in order to improve the security ofnetwork to reach a simple, low cost security mechanism which can verify the customer’sidentity, the method of finger print identification is being brought forward. The methodcombining the fingerprint identification technology with the online banking is replacing thetraditional code identification technology. It can avoid the limitation of code identification andmeet the security requirement of online banking system, so that a complete resolution ofonline banking has become true.It has been proved that this resolution is fully compatiblewith the current online banking system, and can basically meet the need of security ofe-banking.The target of this thesis is to study the security mechanism of online banking, and findthe solution of the problems facing the existing online banking system.The major contents are as follows.1.Discussing the relevant technology J2EE. introducing the concepts of JSP, XMLtechnology and workflow, especially the framework and structure of MVC.2.Analyzing and studying the security problems of online banking. Discussing thedetails of theconcept, basic structure, and the core technology. Analyzing the currentlypopular firewall technology and the skill of Intrusion Detection. 3.Presenting a new method of fingerprint identification. It’s easy and convenient. Codewith private key is not needed. It’s reliable and secure. And it can be easily developed. Systemresources can be highly saved with the storage of fingerprint data.4.Discussing and describe the intrusion detection algorithm and its application in thesecurity mechanism of online banking system.5.Presenting and implementing a modern based on J2EE online banking securitymechanism.6.Testing the modern system. The result of the test indicates that the system performswell on whether the speed of reaction or the carrying capability.
