Use of differential interferometry (D-InSAR) technology to a wide range ofdeformation monitoring is a breakthrough in monitoring the area of today ’s slightlychanged on the surface. After six years of cooperative research by Italy IDSCompany and the University of Florence, IBIS system is successfully developedwhich is called micro-deformation monitoring system. The system is able to put a lotof traditional instruments instead of a set of equipment to complete a variety oftraditional instruments in order to complete the task. Currently used in the dynamicand static measurement of the device used in bridges, high-rise buildings, the damshape deformation and landslides deformation warning. Firstly, background, basicprinciples and development of several technology equipment mainly used for a fullexplanation; More detailed description of the IBIS system software and hardwarecomponents, equipment, technical parameters and interpretation of works on thedevelopment and application of the system’s core technology. It today greatinternational leading technology combining to provide continuous andcomprehensive monitoring of the target, they are: the step frequency continuouswave (Stepped Frequency of the Continuous, SFCW), synthetic aperture radar(Synthetic Aperture Radar, SAR), the phase interference measurement techniquesand permanent scatterers (permanent scatterer, PS). Then briefly IBIS this newmonitoring system with traditional devices, such as: IBIS-S system andaccelerometers as well as the monitoring of the deflection measurement in single-point vibration of the bridge; IBIS system and is often used as the static deflectionmeasuring device of choice for total station in the static monitoring of the bridge;IBIS system and differential sensors, laser range finder in the arch on the monitoringresults were compared; IBIS system with steel strings deformation measurementswere compared in the aqueduct. The results of the IBIS system in all experiments and other traditional instruments to measure results is consistent, and show itsadvantages. This paper finally describes the IBIS-M systems in open-pit slope monitoringexample, the Australian open iron ore slope monitoring and the city of China’s openpit slope monitoring experiments indicated in the IBIS-M system is a newnon-contact open pit slope monitoring equipment to provide effective, timelysecurity monitoring, which is a from the global to the local data analysis methods, this approach mine safety in production provides a more reliable monitoring results,as well as a strong protection, and to lay a solid foundation for the late early warning.IBIS-M system can be a long-term continuous monitoring, covering a wide range ofhigh precision monitoring, have a very successful application of the open pit slopemonitoring and warning. In Summary, I talk about the system development prospectsand put forward.
