Many discotic liquid crystal material have extended aromatic core, and the rich electronic, so they can form the charge transfer compounds through mixing lack of electronic material, such as TNF. The charge transfer function will change among the stability of liquid crystal phase, a very interesting phenomenon is, mixing TNF would make material that has no liquid crystal phase produce columnar phase or hexagonal column phase.1,2,3,4-tetrachlorobenzene and TNF have a similar effec。 It dues to the charge transfer complex. Because of the function of the charge transfer, a lot of the researches have been developing. This thesis first try to add the material TNF that lack of electronic to change the molecular orientation of triphenylene derivative (TP6), and through heating to compare the result. This research has a new conclusion and phenomenon, namely in adding the TNF form a charge transfer complex, this kind of complex formation prompted the orientation of the film changed its size, morphology photo-mechanical effect area structural, the neat degrees this research also attempt to add another material that also is lack of electronic1,2,3,4-tetrachlorobenzene, but we found that there is nophenomenon like the TNF. The result of the experiment that POM and XRD observation can explain that the structure of the orientation of discotic liquid crystal molecules. It has been determined that, the hexagonal has been found in these two systems. In addition, this research also research the liquid crystal shape and nature, the relationship between the company and its high together with cooperation refractive indexes of liquid crystal materials, and build electric control system, by using liquid crystal birefringence test to determine the refractive index. The research also measured the resistivity, dielectric constant and a series of liquid crystal thephotoelectricity parameter, for the next step discotic liquid crystal material test made a auxiliary of the work.
