With the China Telecom’s CDMA network users increased dramatically the amount of how to use the minimum cost to provide users with high-quality voice services, as operators consider the key issues. After three years of Lvliang branch of China Telecom’s network construction, the mobile network has shown signs of scale, network coverage has been greatly improved,85% or more, the number of users increases rapidly, doubling the size of the user.Telecom’s CDMA network user perceptions improved significantly. Gradually to the CMDA network users and also recognized the quality of service on the network to propose more stringent requirements, such as anytime, anywhere uninterrupted voice services, data services, high-speed wireless applications.With the promotion of 3G services telecom, mobile Internet services on the network coverage and other indicators are also more demanding, so the construction of the network planning stage, the status quo for existing network problems, how to make better use of limited resources planning network size and structure of the network resources to achieve optimal, we need to study.This paper briefly describes the development of the CDMA network, CDMA key technology, the air interface and the air interface capacity of CDMA network planning and optimization etc.over the wireless network planning overview, combined with the actual network characteristics Lvliang put forward the demand for construction projects on CDMA Lvliang branch Wireless network planning and design, from network architecture, wireless configuration, save costs, improve resource utilization in terms of network construction proposed construction plan, the Lvliang local factory scene in different geographical landscape of the corresponding solutions of the hot issues Lvliang CDMA network, such as repeater, congestion expansion, described engineering optimization are described, and verified through simulation;Meanwhile, the combination of 3G telecom services market demand for 3G network construction, proposed construction planning program, in the latter part of the engineering optimization phase, targeted DT/CQT test, the test results were analyzed to verify the feasibility of planning, while for network problems, to resolve the issue by engineering optimization, network optimization can not solve the problem, propose possible solutions.
