With the rapid development of the automotive industry, intelligent vehicle systems have become a part of the demand of our daily lives and have been valued by society more and more. With the emergence of3G networks and the expansion of multimedia services, car entertainment systems based on3G mobile networks have become more and more people’s first choice. No matter now or in the future, traffic jam is an urgent problem. Under the premise of grasping enough information, how to plan the optimal path of a moving vehicle has also become one of the intelligent traffic’s difficulties. Based on the above problems, this paper attempts to design an intelligent vehicle system based on3G applications, mainly study the following contents:Study the development of vehicle systems at home and abroad. Outline the structural characteristics of embedded systems. In addition, this paper briefly introduces3G technology and GIS technology.According to the demand analysis of vehicle terminal, this paper presents the overall design of the system and introduces hardware and software platform in the development process. Introduce how to communicate with the vehicle terminal and the design of system database. This paper uses the development board S3C6410provided by Samsung to build my own BSP and customize the Windows CE kernel according to the functional requirements on this platform.The entertainment system is the application system based on the development of embedded systems. It uses C++language development before importing customized SDK in Visual Studio2005. This system completes a link with Internet through3G, the network rate improves greatly compared with traditional methods and completes IE, weather forecasts, Internet radio and other functions.This paper completes vehicle monitoring part using secondary development of GIS, imports development Kit on ArcGIS Engine SDK. Realize the functions of showing vehicle information, vehicle location tracking and playback. In addition this system quotes heuristic search algorithm A*to achieve the function of the path planning finally.
