Frequency-hopping communication is a common method of spread spectrum. The carrier frequency of sending and receiving sides are controlled by law of frequency hopping sequence in frequency hopping communication system. Frequency hopping sequence is a pseudo-random code, it is usually designed based on m-sequence or RS code. It requires the randomness as well as possible to meet the requirement of anti-jamming performance and security performance. In the early20th Century, it was proposed to design FH sequences based on fuzzy rule. And in the late20th Century, a method of designing frequency hopping sequence which is based on chaotic sequences was proposed.In this thesis, the principle, advantages and key technologies of frequency hopping communication system was firstly introduced. Then the method, requirement and theoretical boundary of FH sequences designed were introduced.Secondly, the method of FH sequences design based on m-sequence was studied on, and further the method of designing FH sequences with given minimum gap based on dual sub-bands and L-G model, which is proposed by Mei Wenhua was studied. The FH sequences with given minimum gap was analyzed by calculating the Hamming auto-and cross-correlation which are designed by Mei Wenhua’s method.Thirdly, an improvement of Mei Wenhua’s method was given and analyzed. The improvement can designed more sequences than original method, so the designed sequences were searched for meeting the requirement. The advantages and disadvantages were summarized after comparing between the two methods.Then, the FH sequences design method based on chaotic map was studied. The chaotic FH sequences designed based on Logistic map was anylized and processed with given minimum gap by the method of dual sub-bands is also anylized. Then the performance of FH sequences with given minimum gap was anylized.And finally, a method of designed chaotic FH sequences based on z-logistic was proposed. A class of new FH sequences was designed and was processed with given minimum gap by the method of dual sub-bands. The performance of this two classes of sequence are well.
