As the wide application of the modern power electronic devices, the power system stability influenced by the harmonic pollution is getting more and more serious. The problems of the Harmonic control and reactive power compensation are to be solved; Traditional passive management method is to install the passive filter. But with the influence of the environment of the modern electric power equipment, power grid characteristics and components of letterpress parameters and other factors, the effect of the passive filter harmonic control becomes poor. With the development of the adjustable reactor control technology, the passive filter detuning problem can be improved by the application of the adjustable reactor. But passive filter can’t governance the full harmonic. With the emergence of new switching device and the development of the pulse width modulation technology, the active power filter gradually begin to apply from the experimental stage to the industrial field. The effect of the realization of the harmonic treatment is better. However active filter compensation capacity is limited, based on this situation, this paper puts forward the mixture of adjustable reactor power filtering device.This paper firstly analyzes the traditional passive filter detuning, and then introduces the adjustable reactor work principle. Through the experiments of the adjustable reactor outside characteristics and the control methods of passive filter by the adjustable reactor, we build a good hardware platform, and do the experiment based on adjustable reactor passive filter. And the work principle is discussed based on the mixture of adjustable reactor power filter unit of the active filter, then the control method is understood by the literature, the effect of active power filter is verified by simulation software. When the simulation work has been done, a software control algorithm and hardware platform are designed, we do the experiment of the single phase of active power filter. For mixed electric power filter device, this paper puts forward a kind of generalized integrator control algorithm, which makes attune filter and active power filter clear division, and through the MATLAB simulation validation, the compensation capacity of the active power filter can be reduced and the harmonic control effect can be improved.
