With the popularity of video monitoring system, the defects and deficiencies in video monitoring system are getting highlighted. On one hand, the video monitoring system is lack of safety and can be easily invaded from outside, on the other hand, they can’t detect pseudo video while the real video may be peeped during its transmission. For all above, this paper strives to find an effective solution which can enhance the instantaneity, reality, safety and reliability of the video, and finally eliminates the potential security risks of video monitoring system itself.Frequency-hopping technology has many applications in the military field for its broad bandwidth, large frequency-hopping channel numbers, fast frequency-hopping With these advantages, this technology can greatly enhance the security of information Transmission. This paper introduces this technology into video monitoring information transmission systems. In this paper, video monitoring information transmission systems transmit video signal to the surveillance center by frequency-hopping mode. They take the initiative to elude the interference to strengthen the security of information transmission, and they can protect themselves with the ability of detecting pseudo video and avoiding being peeped.This thesis is mainly as follows:firstly introduces the video monitoring system, puts forward the background and significance of the scheme about the video signal security. Then focuses on the principle of frequency-hopping communication technologies. And then it gives some information including, the overall design, the working principle of the system, and the analysis of each module, especially for the frequency-hopping technique. At the end, it introduces the application development environment, and key system modules, and the frequency hopping system design and simulation, and also verifies the feasibility of the scheme.
