Research And Implementation Of Application Layer Multicast Streaming Media System Based On JMF

High-performance application-layer multicast has received more attention. The topology-aware application layer multicast can make the topology of underlying physical network to match the overlay network highly. In this way, it can get the better property about multicast data forwarding. Topology-aware application layer multicast used the method called prior detection about topology information of the end node, using the underlying network topology information to construct the overlay network. Make the overlay network multicast tree can consistent with the real network as much as possible. This method can decrease the shortest path calculation error.In this paper, we analyze the current examination in the field of application layer multicast, finding ALM has a good prospect. We have learned from variety of different mechanisms in the field of ALM. This paper focuses on the model construction about topology-aware application layer multicast covering network and the optimization problem. We propose the new scheme about topology-aware ALM getting the better performance. This scheme can provide higher quality of service to users with not only in the ideal environment but also in a real network environment. The study has laid a solid theoretical foundation for topology-aware ALM as soon as possible applied to the real network.This paper introduces the overall framework about application layer multicast streaming media player based on JMF in detail. We propose new solutions about the topology finding and the construction about overlay network. We design the client and server about system respectively and analyze the functional. Then, we give a concrete realization of the streaming media broadcast system. Finally, there are summary about this paper and outlook for further research. In this paper, we focus on the outstanding problem that original network broadcast system can not be applied to the Internet。We study the high-performance application-layer multicast technology systematic, so that it can play the advantages of the topology-aware fully. The ALM broadcast media system we designed can provide seamless multimedia transmission for low-bandwidth users.
