Wireless sensor networks (WSN) is a new wireless network composed by a large number of tiny wireless sensors with the self organization mode. Wireless sensor network is mainly used for monitoring work, if you want to know when, where, what events occur, you must know the relevant position information of monitoring node, node localization technology as a key supporting technology in WSN plays a crucial role.Node localization method is divided into two kinds of localization algorithm, they are Range-based algorithm and Range-free algorithm. Range-based algorithm has higher precision, but the requirements are higher for WSN nodes hardware, increase the cost of hardware, the algorithm including:time of arrival (TOA), time difference of arrival (TDOA), angle of arrival (AOA), received signal strength indicator (RSSI), etc. Range-free algorithm relies entirely on network connectivity, needs not ranging, estimates the position of the node at the cost of the positioning precision, and to reduce the hardware requirements for node, specific algorithm including:DV-HOP algorithm, Amorphous algorithm, APIT algorithm, centroid algorithm, etc.The paper proposed a hybrid algorithm based on TDOA hyperbolic localization and triangle weighted centroid localization, this algorithm only uses three beacon nodes, makes full use of the data processing unit and node communication unit, through the triangle weighted centroid localization algorithm gets a location information, and at the same time a unknown node makes full use of receiving signal related calculation, to get another location information. For both groups positioning information comparison, takes the average value and gets a relatively stable location information, the experiments show that this algorithm not only reduces the positioning error, and improves the precision, but also solves the problem of the fuzzy TDOA localization.Finally, briefly summarize the main contribution, point out that the shortages, and put forward some further research.
