The Study Of Video Monitoring Based Vehicle Detection Algorithm

Intelligent vehicle road system, whose predecessor is the intelligent transportationsystem, is the comprehensive transportation and management system whicheffectively integrates the advanced information technology, data communicationtechnology, electronic sensor technology, electronic control technology and computerprocessing technology into the transportation management system and plays animportant role in a large range. It is real-time, accurate, and efficient. Meanwhile, bypromoting the harmony close cooperation of people, cars and roads, IntelligentTransport System help improve the transportation efficiency, alleviate trafficcongestion, improve road network capacity, reduce traffic accidents, reduce energyconsumption, and reduce environmental pollution.In this paper, combined with computer image processing knowledge, we study thedetection and tracking of moving object in the common intelligent video monitoringsystem and the effective suppression of shadow. In the same time we incidentallydiscuss intelligent traffic flow statistical problems and possible solutions. As one ofthe core modules of intelligent transportation (Intelligent Transport Systems),intelligent video monitoring also plays an important role in the operation of the entiresystem link. Through the analysis and comparison of image processing in real-timemonitoring of all aspects of the project, this paper aims at clearing up, around thewhole program flow, the advantages and disadvantages of the available schemes invarious links. What’s more, we also tries to put forward a kind of relatively better plan.At last, under the basis of summarizing and analyzing the relevant study at home andabroad, in allusion to moving target detection and shadow restrain these two aspectsin video image sequence of intelligent transportation system, this paper makes certainwork.
