The feeling of the mobile terminal user directly relatives to the audio quality, this is necessary testing criterion for the net passport of mobile terminal production. From the mobile communication origin, the vocation fervidly keeps on research the audio enhancement technology, moreover getting prominence achievement in many facets the thesis went deep into research the TD-SCDMA terminal audio noise suppression algorithm based on TD-SCDMA standard which be our country independence knowledge property right3G wireless communication equipment standard, and bring forward improved methods, the result showed improved algorithm superior than original algorithm, through entirety evaluating. In practical research, the thesis discussed MMSE noise suppression from four facets: the noise signal which the algorithm will been suppressed, the VAD module, noise suppression module and the methods for algorithm performance evaluating. The noise which the algorithm disposed is extensive background noise, these noise belong to colorized noise and white noise The VAD module is based on dynamic adaptively tracking the minima value of power envelope. The noise suppression module proposed algorithm is improved MMSE, this is a single microphone noise suppression algorithm, it have good capability and don’t produce ‘musical noise’. The algorithm has low calculation complexity, is easier for hardware realization Finally the thesis evaluated the algorithm performance form two facets: the subjective and objective. The evaluations proved that the improved MMSE noise suppression algorithm is superior to the original MMSE noise suppression algorithm.
