With the rapid development of computer network technology, rearch of distributeddatabase become a hot spot problem. In a distributed database, high reliability andspeed are important features of efficient join query algorithms. Being the key part ofthe query process,Query optimization significantly determines the efficiency of queryprocess , thus it has become a central issue in the field of distributed database.Targeting at the deficiencies of traditional methods, such as inefficiency ofvaccine inoculation vaccination, this paper puts forward a new immune geneticalgorithm which directly replaces the individual with low adaptive value by usingantibodies, hence increasing the query speed.The main research works are as follows:(1) The main query algorithm in distributed database was researched. Then, basicon the basic principles of the immune genetic algorithm, the basic processes of theimmune genetic algorithm were described.(2) With the characteristics of the biological immune system in mind , a multi-joinquery optimization of distributed database based on immunity genetic algorithm wasput forward in this paper by applying the improved immune genetic algorithm to thedatabase multi-join query optimization.(3) Applying the algorithm to DVD rent system of management and the inquiresprocess of the system were introduced in this article.An experiment was conductedand the simulation results showed that the improved algorithm is better than thetraditional one in search speed and search ability in dealing with multi-join query ofdatabase.
