Design And Implement Of Universal Timed Task Component Based On SaaS

SaaS has got more and more attention as a rising software application model. The operation mode of SaaS reduces the costs and risks that enterprises bring in information system. So this is the best solution of information construction for SMEs. Most enterprise applications have demands of timed task function. It costs high to develop timing module for every application. In order to solve this problem, I design and implement a universal timed task scheduling component based on SaaS system. Using this component can reduce cost, speed development and enhance the reliability.Firstly, by studying the timing functionality of popular SaaS systems and timed tools, this paper extracted and summarized the full functionality and processes of timed tasks. Secondly, I designed and implemented the interface and main functions of this component according to component’s design principles. Then, in order to ensure timed tasks can be handled timely, the timed task scheduling component use a thread pool to process the trigger and execution activities in parallel. In addition, this paper studied and summarized the implementation solution of configurability in SaaS system, and achieved function configurability and data configurability of the timed task scheduling component. Finally, this component was applied to an actual SaaS system and verified its functionality and performance.
