With the rapid development of modern network technology, heterogeneous integrated networks has become the development trend of the future network, in order to meet the quality of service of system bearer service, and to provide users with ubiquitous service of QoS guarantee, is one of the important objectives in current network design. Therefore, to provide more effective usage and management for the limited network resources, so as to provide different user service requests with respect appropriate quality of service becomes critical. In the meantime, to explore how to establish and maintain end to end service and mobile business environment to achieve higher QoS requirements, so as to meet the diversity of the next generation heterogeneous network and high service quality requirements, has become a key to the seamless integration of wireless heterogeneous network. This paper begins with an overview and analysis of the current IP QoS technologies that have been widely used, as well as a brief introduction to standardization of services for the relevant models and mechanisms, including: best-effort model, integrated services/RSVP model, differentiated service model, and more MPLS and traffic engineering. On this basis, this article focuses on the resource reservation protocol RSVP and next generation signaling protocol NSIS, and a comprehensive analysis and comparison of the two protocols, which fully presents the advantages of the next-generation NSIS signaling protocol, this also leads to the background introduction and the core research content, that is the implementation and expansion of re-routing process based on NSIS protocol. This realization of the function of NSIS protocol is based on the build of a Linux specific test bed, under which the design of re-routing policy scenarios is validated and analyzed, and shows the superiority of NSIS protocol under scenarios of re-routing.Second, to solve the contradiction between the slow convergence of routing algorithm and the fast change of network environment, this paper proposes a particle swarm algorithm and PIQR (Intelligent QoS routing algorithm based on ant colony algorithm) based Intelligent QoS routing mechanism, which adopts location-based ant colony algorithm and add a location determination function at the stage of the taboo table decision, thereby reducing the scope of the search algorithm, the heuristic function to add location-related information within the QoS requirements and information, while taking advantage of PSO parameters of ant colony algorithm to optimize the algorithm to reduce the impact of human experience, makes the algorithm as much as possible to the optimal solution approach. Simulation results reveal that the proposed algorithm can ensure the convergence speed and improve the quality of results without affecting the results of finding the optimal path at the same time. Finally, a summarization of the paper is given, and also points out the lack of this work, then gives recommendations for future research.
