In 2011, China’s economic development will enter the next five year plan, "Twelfth Five" plan. The Chinese government will further encourage scientific and technological innovation ability. In the face of such a rare historical opportunity, all walks of life is also facing a severe test, such as the market competition in the continuous evolution, more and more demanding requirements of customers to better products and services. As the IT infrastructure is increasingly complex, the company is badly in need of recognizing opportunity of achieving strategic differences through business model innovation. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) has become recognized as IT infrastructure development trend. As a software system architecture, SOA enables flexible business process and flexible IT process matching. The industry solutions by using SOA can fastly adapt the change, and achieve business innovation and value-added IT.This thesis foucs on the field of Web Servcie, Service-Oriented Architecture, quality model of service composition, exceptions in service composition and service composition validation and so on. The main work and contributions are as follow:The thesis researchs a QoS and Rule based approach for dynamical service composition. The approach emploies rule reason to match the QoS value of composite service and qulity requirement of user so as to choose an ideal composite service for user.The thesis designs the rule-based approach for exception handling for service composition. The exceptions during execution of service composition are classified and summaried. The approach employs rules with condition propobility to handle the exception, which improves the ablities of service composition and enhance the reliability of service composition. The thesis designs and implements the service composition platform. This platform implements the above researching achievements. Around the life cycle of SOA, the platform provides the development tools in each stage. The develper can easily and fastly create the SOA application.Based on the platform, the KPI application is developed in order to validate the functions provided by the platform and shows the value of the research and practice.
