The spread of drugs is a serious threat to people’s lives and safety, drug abuse and drug trafficking will lead to social instability, more serious is that drug trafficking and international terrorism, money laundering and other transnational criminal gangs are closely linked to human society, it constitute an extremely serious threat, effective police department to combat drug proliferation is an extremely important mission. Large numbers of domestic and foreign drug cases emerge, drug dens increase rapidly. Now, the investigation work of the investigating authorities is facing new difficulties. Research and development of drug tablet image recognition system achieve the function that it identify pharmaceutical drugs based abrasive, use the technical assistance of police departments to control the distribution of drug dens, contribute to timely detection of drug-related criminal cases, achieve steady accurate drug offenders efforts to crack down, curb the rampant drug-related criminal activity effectively. Base on such background, we develop a drug tablet identification system based on B/S structure.In this paper, the main work is completed:Firstly, according to the features of tablet image data set one samples, to design and implement a medicine tablet recognition algorithm based on color, shape, texture feature. Secondly, according to the characteristics of the tablet image data set two samples, to design and implement a medicine tablet recognition algorithm based on the distribution of tablet image texture. Thirdly, to design and implement a tablet image retrieval system based on B/S structure.
