With the rise of things in recent years, wireless sensor network applications are getting hotter and hotter. Congestion control of wireless sensor networks(WSNs) has been a hot issue is that people study. Network congestion will cause increased network latency, packet loss rate increases and the effective network throughput dramatically. This paper analyzes the research on congestion control status of the study in WSNs at home and abroad in recent years, and then analyzes the strategy of congestion control, as well as analysis and comparison of the optimal control method. When congestion occurs, the ease congestion state of congestion node is the most effective way to control the data transmission rate of congestion node directly upstream neighbor. The paper based on this idea, from the fairness between the upstream node and the priority of data point of view, put forward simulated annealing algorithm-based congestion control strategy. The strategy is detect network congestion by using the node buffer queue occupancy detection method. When the network congestion is detected, the congestion control algorithms will slowly ease and eliminate congestion in accordance with annealing method. In the process of eliminate congestion, simulated annealing algorithm will find a set of optimal solutions to the upstream data transmission rate of node along with the congestion status of each node. Through the simulation analysis of the strategy, validate the strategy to ensure fairness and data node priority under good control of network congestion and ensure the network throughput. Finally, the author got a summary of the strategy and proposed future research directions.
