What about trying to integrate these two kinds of online games? It is wonderful to build a harmonious and fantastic online game world while keeping the basic architecture and gameplay features of each type. Let all the players have fun together in the same virtual world! The paper is about how to design and develop a new kind of network middleware which can integrate client games and web games based on Unity game engine. It introduces the whole approach and development process of the middleware. And the paper places the emphases on describing the solutions to the problems on integration and the functionalities of the network middleware. In addition to online games, this middleware can also be used in a lot of different fields concerning network communication between client side and web side.
